Traffic Forecast

Last update 2.8.2025. 08:54

Traffic forecast for 3 August 2025

Roads will be occasionally wet and slippery throughout the country. Due to occasional heavy rain, large amounts of water may accumulate on the road, especially on roads in mountain areas and on the DC8 Adriatic Road. Drivers are advised to maintain a safe distance between vehicles and adjust their speed and driving style to the road conditions.

Dense traffic is expected on all major roads towards the coast and inland, especially on the Zagreb city bypass towards the Lučko pay toll, on the A1 Zagreb-Ploče-Karamatići motorway, A6 Rijeka-Zagreb motorway, on the Rijeka city bypass, on the motorways in Istria between the Učka junction and tunnel, on the Krk Bridge, as well as on access roads to tourist destinations on the coast. Delays are possible in work zones, rest areas, pay toll and tunnels.

From noon until 11 p.m., there will be a traffic ban on all freight vehicles exceeding 7.5 tonnes on most major state roads along the coast (excluding the motorways and the DC1 state road):

Dense passenger traffic is expected at most border crossings with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro.

We do not expect any difficulties in ferry traffic.
